The National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS) is accepting nominations for its Pet Sitting Business of the Year Award for 2010. The deadline to make a nomination is Sept. 1.
The Pet Sitting Business of the Year Award is presented annually to a NAPPS member who, according to the organization, “has demonstrated outstanding business practices and vision in maintaining and growing their business.”
Pet owners can nominate their pet sitter by completing a form on NAPPS’ website. Once nominated, NAPPS will contact the business to complete a comprehensive application.
The NAPPS Pet Sitting Business of the Year Selection Committee, which is comprised of NAPPS members, will determine the winner. The Mt. Laurel, N.J.-based organization expects to announce the winning business in October.
The winner will receive complimentary attendance at NAPPS’ 2010 annual conference, including registration, lodging and transportation. Past winners include Terrapin Pets of Beltsville, Md. (2009), The Purrfect Nanny of Atlanta (2008), and Bella’s House & Pet Sitting of Scottsdale, Ariz. (2007).Source: pet news
